Soma Sync was Alias Records' own recording studio, located right next to their San Francisco office. We were highly encouraged to utilize their facility, so we agreed to record a single there. We spent a day cutting three basic tracks, "An Old Colonial's Hard Luck Story", Mitzi's song "Fall Again", which would be the B-side, and Jimmy's song, "Pablo", which would appear on our next album.
