Soma Sync was an oddly constructed studio; there wasn't really enough space for a band to play together, so Mick and his drums were set up in the small recording room, while we and our guitars situated ourselves in various corners of the control room. It was a bit unsettling. I've had far worse recording experiences since then, though.
